About the Rubber Stamp Printmaking Workshop with Laurie Avon
After a sold out programme in 2019 Laurie’s workshops are back due to popular demand.
“I am a professional artist and I’ve been to this class twice. It’s inspired me so much I even bought my own kit, thank you.”
Laurie Avon is an illustrator who lives and works between London and Brighton. His work is primarily created through relief printmaking. Join Laurie to try rubber stamp printmaking at a series of five afternoon and evening sessions throughout March and April. Using simple tools and a take-home approach, Laurie’s workshops celebrate the evolution of stamps – from a historic symbol of authority, to a playful means of expression.
Anyone under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult as this class involves working with sharp tools.
