Our tasty home-made pesto sauce is nut-free and perfectly disguises nutritious kale and spinach, making it a firm favourite with little ones and grown-ups! Simple and quick to make, the sauce also freezes beautifully — perfect for a healthy ‘last-minute’ family tea.

INGREDIENTS
3 bunches of fresh basil leaves
200g of baby spinach
200g of kale
3 cloves of garlic
50g of extra virgin olive oil
80g of Parmesan

TO PREPARE
Place all of the ingredients into a food processor and blitz until a smooth paste has formed. You can batch the sauce into six portions and freeze for another day or mix in with freshly cooked pasta of your choice. We recommend rigatoni as the large tubes absorb the delicious sauce and are easy for little hands to manage.
