Founded by Danish-born Caroline Van Luthje, Wild Swans offers Scandinavian fashion, homeware and beauty. The name ‘Wild Swans’ comes from the fairytale ‘The Wild Swans’, by Hans Christian Andersen. It perfectly describes the range of designers as well as the customers – beautiful, strong gracious birds with a bit of an edge.

Wild Swans first opened its doors in 2004 in West London, Chiswick. Since then, Wild Swans has been a part of the Islington community since 2005, starting in Cross Street, then to Upper Street, and finally to the Square in November 2022. The store creates a sense of Hygge, with its Scandinavian homewares and styling.

Over the past decade, Caroline has introduced brands such as Ganni and Stine Goya to the UK market, which are now globally well-known and respected brands. Always on the lookout for new Danish brands, Caroline loves to support up-and-coming designers and help them grow.
